How We Help Support Foster Families

Fostering Our Future is committed to providing families who are called to foster with the tools, support, and education they need to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving home for children in crisis.

We work with local churches to recruit and train foster families, establish foster care support teams, provide annual parenting and family seminars, and host ministry events to encourage and better equip foster families to support the vulnerable children they care for.

We Provide Wrap-Around Support Systems

    We provide foster parent pre-licensing training, as well as continuing education modules that qualify for annual foster home licensing renewal.
  • Advocacy

    Advocacy

    Foster children desperately need adults who will speak up and speak out on their behalf; to give them a voice. We teach foster parents how to advocate for the best interests of the children in their care as they navigate Florida’s dependency system.

    We provide parenting and family seminars and seasonal celebrations to encourage and uplift foster families and the children they support.
